George Washington's GGG-Grandfather (Lawrence) was a brother to Walter Washington, who was the Great Grandfather of Mary Stanton. Mary Stanton was the GGGGGG-Grandmother of Suda Rogers and her siblings.
The first common ancestor between the Washington and Rogers family is Robert Washington (1544-1620).
I have additional information (birthdays, locations, etc) in my FTM Genealogy program on my computer.
Suda Rogers and her siblings are a 5th Cousin Six-Times Removed to President George Washington. Suda's children would be 5th Cousins Seven-Times Removed….and so forth. Laban West

My father and I have been researching the Rogers line for years. We are related to Samuel Jefferson Rogers - to his son Jonathan L. Rogers (who married Lucetta Briley and then Rebecca Briley). We would love to swap info! Do you have any Rogers entries into a DNA database?
Also, the BIG question for us - how did you connect Samuel Jefferson to his father Samuel - to Daniel. This is a connection we have been working on forever and can't find any definite tie.
